Danny's not that great at meeting new people; it actually terrifies him. He was homeschooled for most of his life so he never really developed the 'how to make friends' skill. However, he's a really nice guy and a loyal friend, so once you get to know him he's great fun to be with. (:
He lives in Fairview, and he's from England. He has no family in Manhattan so he's pretty much alone right now, having just transferred in. His father is his only remaining relative and he isn't exactly close to him, hence his moving away. Nate (his father) is doing great money-wise and so provided Danny's house in fairview. Danny didn't actually want to live in Fairview, but Nate is all about reputation and he didn't want his reputation to be ruined by "his son living in a hovel", as he puts it.
Danny loves partying and is a massive drinker! He used to be kinda hooked on drugs too, but now he hardly ever does them. Also, he's border-schizophrenic. He can hear and see things that aren't there - he knows they aren't there and tries to ignore them. No one knows about this, but he often looks twitchy/nervous and many nights he doesn't get a wink of sleep.
