Matthew couldn't remember the last time he had been down this street. He couldn't remember exactly how many years or days ago it was since he had been abducted and taken away from his family and his home. All he could remember was the day before it had all happened he was celebrating his sister's eleventh birthday. "Was it really that many years ago" he thought silently in his head. Shaking his head Matthew just drove on down the street and parked his car in front of the old family home. For all he knew his family might not even live there anymore. Quickly taking off his seat belt Matthew opened up the driver's door before he stepped out of his car and shut the door behind him. He then ran one of his hands through his hair as he sighed softly.
There was only one main reason why he had come back to the family home. It wasn't for his parents since Matthew and his parents never truly got along. It was for his little sister Jasey. Ever since he had gotten abducted Matthew could only think of escaping the home where he had been chained to a chair to see his sister. Jasey and himself were always quite close. In fact it had been Matthew who had first taught her how to ride her first ever bike and he was the one that took on the role of her fathering figure most of the time.
Leaning against his car for a couple of minutes he just stood there looking up at the family home. He had spent many years in this one house looking after his sister. Taking a quick glance around the neighborhood Matthew slowly began walking closer to the family home. He then began to walk up the front steps and stopped on the front porch. One of his hands formed into a fist before he brought it up to the door. Taking a small gulp he then knocked on the front door lightly. He only hoped if his family was still here it would be Jasey to answer not wanting to deal with his parents right now.

The steam in the bathroom was being caused by the water from the shower, which was probably a lot hotter than it should be, but the petite girl didn't seem to care at the moment. She needed a shower to wash off the last of the paint that she'd accidentally covered herself in a few moments earlier; an art project that she was supposed to have finished... yesterday. But she hadn't found the time to do so, because she'd had band practise and a hell of a lot of homework that needed to be finished yesterday, too. There was only so much that any one person could do at the same time.
Jasey stood under the running water and washed all the paint off of her body and out of her hair before shutting off the water, stepping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around her small body. Moving into her bedroom, the sophomore was unaware of the male presence currently pulling up outside of the house. Since it was a Saturday and she had nowhere to go, or anyone too see, Jasey changed into a pair of yellow shorts and white halter neck t-shirt, sliding her feet into the monkey slippers at the end of her bed afterwards. Spraying a little of her usual perfum onto her neck and wrists, Jasey then slid three silver bangles on her wrist and moved into the kitchen.
Hunting in the cupboards, the little sophmore looked for something to eat and found.. flour - well, she didn't exactly find the flour; more like, it found her. The bag fell out of the cupboard onto her head, spanning out and covering the entirety of, not only Jasey, but also the kitchen. Surprised by this; the young female spun on her heel and looked around the kitchen; jumping when she heard a knock at the door. Chewing on the inside of her lip, the sixteen year old shuffled to the front door and raised her arm to open it, coughing at the same time because flour was attempting to choke her. Opening the door, Jasey started to look up. "Hel--" Brown eyes went wide... she recognised that face...

Matthew just stood there on the front porch waiting for the front door to be opened. As he heard the sound of someone opening it some fear began to build up inside of him. He actually thought about running off just in case it was his parents. But, once the door was widely open and he saw who had opened it a sigh of relief had escaped from his lips as a soft smile formed gently on to his lips. "Sis what on earth have you been doing to yourself making flour angels" he asked her with a soft chuckle. Matthew had always decided to joke around since it was so much better then always being so serious. That was what their actual father was like and their actual father was always so harsh on Matthew because of it.
His smile just grew brighter as he watched her. Jasey was the only reason why he had come back to this old family home and by the looks of her he came back in time just in time to help her. "Come on sis don't just stand there come give your big bro a hug" he spoke again. That was when he stepped closer to her and wrapped his arms gently around her small frame and pulled her into a soft hug not even minding if flour got all over his clothes. While hugging her Matthew just led her back inside the family home and shut the door behind them while he was still hugging her.
"I think you need to jump into the shower and get something to eat before we get caught up how does that sound sis" he suggested to her softly. That was when he leaned his head down and placed a soft and gentle kiss on to the top of her head. If people saw them now they would never be able to guess that Matthew got abducted and hadn't been away from Jasey for years and years on end. Though he knew at the same time he wouldn't be able to avoid that topic for to long. Soon enough Jasey was going to ask him about it he just knew it.

Never in her wildest dreams did she ever expect to open the door to find the one person, that she'd missed and loved more than anyone in her entire life. Jasey chewed on the inside of lip, trying to stop it from quivering as she stood there. Her eyes were welling up with tears and she could feel her heart thumping a lot under her chest. Could it be? Could it really? Jasey squinted her eyes a little to see if she was dreaming and thought about rubbing them to check, too. It wasn't until Matthew actually spoke did she realise that this wasn't just another hallucination... Well, at least she thought it wasn't, maybe it was. Oh, Jasey was confused now, she didn't know what to do, or say.
Jasey had forgotten all about being covered in flour; she was now just standing there looking at Matthew, still trying to work out whether or not this was a dream. Then he spoke again and Jasey just nodded slowly, reaching her hands up to her eyes and rubbing them harshly; getting flour over Matthew in the process. The sixteen year old jumped slightly when Matthew wrapped his arms around her in a hug, making her hesitate for a moment before she wrapped her arms around his larger frame and stepped backwards to allow him entrance into the house. What could she say?
Matthew mentioned something about a shower and Jasey looked up and then looked back down at herself. He pressed a soft kiss onto the top of her head and that was when she lost it completely. The little sixteen year old pulled herself away from him, untangling their arms and stood a little way back from where he was standing, looking at him with a fearful expression in her brown eyes. Then the tears started to fall and she wiped them away, angrily, looking up at him with her eye brows furrowed and her lip between her teeth. "I-I.. h-ho-.. w-w-whe.. ohgod." Her words decieved her.
