Well, things were going great so far.
Having just transferred in from England, today was supposed to be Danny's first day at the Manhattan School of Arts. His fear of meeting new people had made him fear this day greatly, and so he had panicked and drank before school.
Sure, it seemed like a dumb idea now, but at the time it had seemed a brilliant idea. Alcohol made everything.. Nicer. He had only drunk enough to get slightly tipsy - hopefully not enough for anyone to particularly notice, but enough to calm his nerves and make him feel less... Panicked.
That had been his first mistake of the day. The second mistake had been deciding to skateboard to school. Danny didn't own a car over here, and walking was just so slow, plus he was pretty good at skateboarding. All had been going fine until he had reached the school.
Danny had a tendancy to drift off into his own thoughts and completely forget to pay attention to whatever it is he's doing at the time. Not a good idea on a skateboard; especially when approaching some steps.
He noticed at the last minute, but not soon enough to jump off the skateboard or actually stop. Instead, he managed to do a small jump which cleared half of the steps, then he bumped down a few steps, jumping again to the bottom with the board clattering down beside him. As he landed, he rolled sideways to reduce the impact, but he had landed badly on one of his ankles.
Wincing, he sat up on the floor and squeezed his eyes shut until the pain ebbed away. He grabbed his skateboad and hobbled to his feet, experimentally pressing down on the throbbing one. He hissed as a sharp pain shot up his ankle and immediately put all his weight onto the other one.
"Great," he said exasperatedly. At least he was right outside of the school. He hobbled inside and wandered up and down the corridors until he found the nurse's office, pushing the door open and going inside. The nurse had looked it over briefly before telling him that a trip to the hospital was needed in case it was something serious. She said that she didn't think it was broken, but it was best for him to check.
Danny couldn't decide if this was a good or bad thing. A broken ankle would suck, but maybe it was worth it to get out of the first day of school. At least this way it meant his first day of torture was prolonged until tomorrow.
The nurse informed him that he needed a teacher to escort him to the hospital. When he asked why, she shrugged and said something about school policy and making sure that students weren't bunking off. The nurse told him she'd be back in a moment and went off somewhere. Supposedly to fetch a teacher to drag him to the hospital.

Notes: Hope this is okay! I was originally going to actually start it at the hospital, but I thought you'd probably need to introduce your character first. Words: 510

Matthew was having a pretty boring day so far. Plus he was running kind of late to get to school today. Sighing softly he just parked his car in it's normal parking space in the staff parking lot before he grabbed his cup of coffee and books as he stepped out of his car before he began walking on over to the side doors of the school that was closet to the nurse's office. Taking a sip of his cup of coffee Matthew was in his own little world until the sound of someone talking to him made him drift away from his own silent thoughts and come back down to reality. Taking a quick glance of who was talking to him he noticed it was the school nurse asking him if he would escort a student over to the hospital and mentioning that she already had someone to cover his class for the day.
Smiling lightly Matthew just nodded his head slowly agreeing to the job. Hey even if he was escorting a student to the hospital he could get some fresh air on the way over there. Following the nurse back into her office he just glanced on over in the direction of the student then back down to the nurse. Once signing the papers he needed to sign so the main office had track of where he was going he just made his way on over to the student after he had been informed about the so called incident.
Matthew just flashed the student a soft smile before he looked around and grabbed a pair of crutches so the kid could at least walk without applying pressure on to his wounded ankle. "Took a nasty huh the name's Mr. Archer but, you can just call me Matthew all my students do" He spoke with a nod of his head. He then held the crutches in one hand and with the other he just held it out to the student to help him up. "It's okay you can trust me" he reassured him softly.
Matthew knew all about how students saw teachers. But, he wasn't one of those mean teachers. In fact he was one of those teachers that all the students enjoyed and enjoyed to learn from and wished that he was their teacher. "I took a bunch of nasty falls skateboarding myself when I was a teenager" he said simply with a soft smile and a nod of his head.

Alone in the room, he had his head bowed and was struggling to keep his eyes open. How many hours of sleep had he gotten last night? Four? Not many, he knew that much. He forced his eyes open quickly when he heard movement outside the door and watched as someone walked in, accompanied by the nurse.
It was a teacher, he assumed, but he didn't look that much older than himself. In his twenties, definitely. Danny guessed at around 25. Maybe a bit younger. He watched wearily as papers and other legal junk were signed, fighting falling asleep due to the boringness of it all.
He quickly snapped his eyes open when he realised the teacher was talking to him, half expecting him to get a shouting at. His teachers back in England had been extremely strict and apparently loved to shout their heads off at every oppurtunity. This one was different.
Danny blinked slowly as the teacher introduced himself as Mr. Archer/Matthew. "Uh.. I'm Danny," he said, unsure what he was supposed to say. He wondered what teachers he'd have for his classes. Maybe Matthew would be one of them. He hoped so; he seemed pretty cool.
When Matthew extended an arm out to him, he stared at it for a moment before grabbing onto it and hopping upright onto his good leg. He took the crutches from the teacher and, opting to only make use of one, put one of them down on the floor again and scooped his skateboard up under his arm. One crutch would do just fine, he decided.
Matthew was now talking about skateboarding. He found it suprising that he'd done skateboarding before; it was hard to imagine teachers as when they were younger, or even outside of school. Usually, they acted so different. "Um, cool," Danny said, shifting on his foot. "I-It was my own fault really. Wasn't paying attention," he admitted. It really had been stupid of him to drift off into his own little world while skateboarding. He scolded himself internally for being such a moron and made a vow to actually pay attention next time.
"..How far is the hospital?" he wondered out loud. Having only been here for about a day, he hadn't really seen anywhere outside of Fairview.. and the path from Fairview to Manhattan School of Arts. He hoped it wouldn't be far, or this was going to be a long day.
On the bright side: he was getting out of school.

Matthew just nodded his head in understanding as he listened to Danny talk about how the incident had happened. "It's best if you do pay attention from on now so you won't have to take another visit to the hospital I highly doubt you want to take another visit there aren't I correct" Matthew asked him softly. "But, hey don't beat yourself up over it everyone makes mistakes that's what makes us humans no one is perfect" he just reminded Danny with a small nod of his head. Opening back up the door to the nurse's office he took a quick glance out to the hall making sure the principal wasn't out looking if any students were out skipping. He really hadn't explaining why he wasn't in class yet to teach anyways.
Not seeing the principal he just glanced back on over in Danny's direction. "Not that far but you don't have to walk all the way there don't worry we're taking my car" he spoke. Normally Matthew never allowed any students in his car unless he was taking them to a sport game or something. But, there was no way he would allow Danny to walk all the way over to the hospital with his injured ankle. That just wouldn't be a good idea on his part and he did kind of feel bad for Danny already.
Matthew was just able to tell how nervous of being here in the school. "Let me guess it's your first day isn't it" he asked Danny softly. That was when he walked out into the hall way and allowed Danny to follow him out. "Don't worry from what I know of your in one of my classes so at least you already know one of your teachers isn't a monster" Matthew made a joke as he chuckled lightly. That was another reason why a lot of students loved him. He was able to relate to the students quite easily.
Slowly making his way on over to the staff parking lot he just unlocked his car before he opened the passenger side and held his hand out just in case Danny needed help getting in.

'Here comes the lecture,' he thought as Matthew started talking about being careful. "Yeah, yeah, I will next time," he sighed. "I don't know what I was thinking." Best not to mention the alcohol, he decided. He'd probably end up excluded on his first day or something. Would that be a record? It'd be quite an achievement. "Hospitals.. I don't really mind them," he said in reply to the teacher's comment about hospitals. "The waiting time just.. sucks," he rolled his eyes at the thought of the usually hours-long queues. He'd had to wait three hours before, once. Granted, it was at the weekend, but it was still pretty ridiculous.
He watched as Matthew opened the nurse's office door and stuck his head out. 'Who's he watching out for?' he wondered. He had permission to leave, right? Danny assumed someone would be covering his lessons. Maybe he would get in trouble for escorting him. "Sorry," he said bluntly. It was one of those 'i'm-sorry-for-being-such-a-pain' sorry's. He found this whole escorting thing pretty stupid. The student wasn't going to go home and sit in their house with a broken leg or something, so why the need to be dragged along by a teacher? If the student's being sent to the hospital it must be a pretty serious injury.
He snapped out of his inner rantings when he realised that Matthew had started walking down the corridor and quickly hopped after him, rearranging the skateboard under his arm to stop it from falling and closing the nurse's office door shut behind him.
"Cool." Danny sighed with relief at the teacher's comment about the car. At least he wouldn't have to hop all the way there. "And yeah.. It is my first day here," he said. "Awesome first impression, huh?" The last part of the sentence was sarcastic. Being escorted to the hospital was a brilliant way to start at the school. On a more optimistic note: crutches are pretty fun.
"You're my teacher? Cool," he smirked. He was glad, this guy seemed like fun. Plus, he wasn't that much older so maybe they'd get along pretty well. Skateboarding was already one thing they both had in common.
Once they entered the car park, he made a mental note to be careful and not somehow ruin the poor teacher's car. Enemies are bad, but even worse when they're your teacher. He rested the crutch against the open door and took Matthew's hand, slowly getting into the car to make sure he didn't hit anything before grabbing the crutch and placing it on the floor, resting against the inside of his leg. He closed the door behind himself and waited while the teacher got in. Danny took this time to study him, as he had been too busy falling asleep in the nurse's office to really pay attention.
As he had noted before, he looked young. Mid twenties maybe. His hair was short and brown. 'All in all, pretty hot,' he thought, absently looking him up and down and blinking lazily, knowing that he probably shouldn't think about other guys that way (much less his teacher), but at the same time not being able to help it (plus, he was pretty bored). The alcohol was still working, making him feel more 'mellow' than his usual twitchy self.

Matthew was wondering why Danny was sorry. But, could only guess he was saying it because he thought Danny was a pain. Though that was the last thing Matthew was thinking right now. He never thought any of his students were a pain. Besides so far Danny seemed like a cool kid and he could see the two of them getting along that was a sure thing. If they were getting along now then for sure they would be getting along when Matthew began to teach him in an actual school environment. "Sounds like someone I use to know when I was your age oh wait oh yeah it was me"" Matthew said simply. He could remember the very first day he started in a new school he chugged down at least a couple of bottles of beer and well he had to be rushed to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. At least that wasn't happening to Danny.
Matthew waited patiently while Danny got into the passenger's side. He didn't mind how much time it took them. The nurse had already called in for them at the hospital so they wouldn't need to wait as long as normal since there would be a doctor free waiting to check Danny's ankle out right when they got there. Once he was sure Danny was in the passenger's seat and was comfortable in it Matthew just made his way on over to the driver's side and got into the seat. Putting on his seat belt he put the keys in and turned them. He then raised the volume on the CD that was playing on the CD player.
It wasn't the type of music that would a old person would listen to. In fact it was the music that a teenager now days would listen to. Plus he was thinking maybe the music would help Danny take his mind off the pain that was shooting through his ankle right now. Once raising the volume he just glanced on over to Danny. "Put your seat belt on and then we'll be ready to leave" he spoke and with that he slowly began to pull out of the parking space and out of the parking lot turning on to the road as he began to drive on over to the hospital.

'Sounds like someone I knew when I was your age.. oh wait, it was me' Huh... really. He'd been a total screw up too? Danny snorted to himself. "Really? In what way?" he asked. Maybe Matthew meant he had been clumsy as well. "...how old are you, anyway?" He asked exasperatedly. The guy looked way too young to be a teacher and anyway, he was pretty nosy. He was vaguely aware that some people may find that question rude or something, but he never really had been great in the 'knowing what to say' department.
He waited as Matthew started up the car and turned on his music before pulling out of the car park. The music wasn't that bad. He had half been expecting some kind of opera, or the dreaded classical, music to come blasting out of the speakers. Danny was more into the rock and metal genre.
"Um... what do you teach, anyway?" He wondered out loud. He knew the guy was his teacher for something but he had no clue what. Hazarding a guess, he estimated that he'd be... drama teacher or something. He looked like the type of person to teach drama. Maybe even a music teacher, seeing as he obviously liked music. Danny was leaning more toward the second one because he didn't take drama.. at least he didn't think he had. Maybe his timetable was messed up; he wouldn't be suprised.
"Uh, yeah," he said when Matthew mentioned the seatbelt and he turned to put it on. He fiddled with the buckle as he was clumsy as couldn't get it to go in. Annoyed, he just sorta rammed it in.
The pain in his ankle had sort of gone now, it was replaced by a dull numb sensation. He 'hmm'ed to himself and knocked it against the dashboard. As he expected, it hurt quite a lot but he found he could move it a bit so he concluded it mostly likely wasn't broken. Just badly bruised. He leant over and poked at it with a finger. It was kinda swollen, but nothing too bad. Maybe this hospital trip was useless. "You know, I'm pretty sure it isn't broken..." he said, insinuating that a hospital wasn't very necessary.
"Thanks, by the way," he added, staring at him for a few moments before staring blankly out of the window at the passing scenery. He supposed he should thank him for taking the time out of school, he most likely had better things to do than escort a clumsy idiot to the hospital.

Matthew just continued on driving on over to the hospital. Once stopping at a red light he took a quick glance on over in Danny's direction. "Well believe it or not I transfered into this school myself when I was about your age and well I was nervous as heck so I decided to drink a couple of bottles of beer before I took my skateboard to school thing was I never made it to school I was rushed to the hospital for alcohol poisoning" Matt just said simply. Now he didn't mind talking about his personal life to his students. In fact he thought it was a great way to get the students interested instead of just making school boring like most teachers did for them. When he heard Danny ask the age question Matthew just smiled softly. "I know what your thinking I look to young to be a teacher I get that a lot I'm actually twenty-two so I do have a bit of experience under my belt" he informed Danny softly.
Noticing the light had turned green again Matthew just pressed down on to the gas pedal and continued on driving in the direction of the hospital. "Music but, last year I use to teach the more technological side of music you know behind the scenes and stuff" Matthew said simply as he continued on driving. Stopping at another red light he just turned his head on over in the direction of Danny. "I already knew it wasn't broken though it might be badly sprained we just got to make sure I know it seems stupid but, our nurse takes extra care of our students" he said with a small nod of his head.
When he heard Danny thank him Matthew just shook his head. "There's no need to thank me your my student and I'm your teacher you could have been the worse student at that school and I still would have been taking you to the hospital I look after my students so whenever you need something don't be to scared to ask" he spoke with a soft smile. Seeing the light turn green again Matthew just pressed down on the gas pedal again and hung a right before he pulled up into the emergency parking lot and found a space quite close to the hospital emergency's doors so Danny wouldn't have to hop that far.
Shutting off his car he just got out of the driver's seat before he made his way on over to the passenger's and opened up the door before he grabbed the crutch and held his hand out to Danny to help him out.

Danny laughed dryly at Matthew relayed his story. His teacher had gotten drunk, skateboarded into school and got sent to hospital for alcohol poisoning. He had got tipsy, skateboarded into school and messed up his ankle. The comparison was funny, really. "I bet you were in deep shit, right?" he snorted, imagining the teacher's faces. Turning up completely wasted on a first day of school... Was pretty impressive, actually. He made a mental note to try it sometime. It might be amusing to attempt to pull it off. "Your teachers must have hated you," he thought out loud. If he was a teacher, he knew he'd be annoyed if a student turned up at school completely wasted. Either annoyed, or he'd find it hilarious. He couldn't decide on which.
Danny shifted in his seat and glanced over at the teacher when he started talking about his age. "Uh.. Well, yeah. You look good. I mean, young for your age," he frowned at his own response and blamed it on the alcohol. Hey, he was hot, he'd already decided that much.
Aaah, so he was a music teacher. Danny had almost been right. "Awesome.. I'm a techie. Do you still teach that stuff or was it just last year?" he absent-mindedly ran a hand through his hair. It was kind of a habit. Matthew was talking about something else now.
"Oh, right. So, uh, what are they gonna do to it?" he banged it against the dashboard again and was pleased to find that although painful still, it wasn't as bad as last time. Damn, it was going to bruise though. "Oh. Well..." Danny wasn't quite sure what to say in response to that. The guy was too nice. He was used to the a-holes back at home. "Well, thanks anyway," he said, raising an eyebrow at him. "And I will. You're the only person I know so far," he emitted a short laugh at his own patheticness.
They entered the hospital car park and he waited while Matthew exited the car before grabbing his hand and pulling himself out again. He decided that, as painful at it was, to leave his skateboard in the car. Danny took the crutch back from his teacher and easily hopped along beside him towards the main entrance. "You're a cool guy," he commented, smirking. It was directed half at himself and half at the teacher.

Matthew just shrugged his shoulders. "Mainly but I really didn't care what they thought about me I was a nervous kid and alcohol was the only thing that calmed me down back then kind of foolish huh" he just asked Danny softly. When he heard Danny comment on him being a cool guy a soft gentle smile formed gently on to his lips. "Most of my students tell me that but thanks" he spoke softly as he walked up beside his student. Once they reached the front doors to the emergency part of the hospital Matthew just opened up the doors and allowed Danny to hop in first before he followed behind him.
Taking a quick glance around the hospital his eyes landed on the doctor that were already waiting for them to arrive. Waving on over to him he then looked down to Danny. "You want me to go in with you or do you just want me to wait in the waiting area" Matthew asked softly. He didn't mind if Danny wanted him to go in with him. Some students were just like that and Matt was use to it by now. This hadn't been the first time he had been to the hospital with a student. In fact he had just been here last week with another student how had gotten badly injured doing a rugby game.
If Danny wanted some company while the doctor checked out his injured ankle he wouldn't mind going in with him. He then made his way on over to the area where the hospital kept their wheelchairs and grabbed one. Wheeling one on over to Danny he parked it beside the younger boy. "Here sit down I don't mind wheeling you wherever you need to go" Matthew just informed Danny softly. Besides he thought sitting in a wheelchair would be better for the younger boy right now. With his injured ankle if he sat down more then standing then he would apply less pressure on to the injured ankle while they waited for the doctor to be ready to see them.

Wow. He really did sound a lot like himself. Alcohol was pretty much the only thing that calmed him down too. Except maybe drugs. But he'd been easing himself off of those. "I can totally relate," he laughed shortly and dryly, shrugging his shoulders.
'Most of my students tell me that, but thanks.' Yeah, he had been expecting that. He figured most people would like this guy; he seemed pretty friendly and laidback. Laidback teachers were the best. It meant you could get away with doing things easier - and also get away with doing nothing. That was one of Danny's favourite things to do. Nothing. He was lazy as hell.
"No problem," Danny smirked, deciding that his teacher had a cute smile. For a fraction of a second he wondered if the guy was single. Or straight. Being a teenager, he was craving for some kind of a relationship. Nothing serious, of course. He'd had plenty of flings/one night stands, or whatever you wanted to call them, before. Hormones sucked, he had decided. Danny had never actually been in a serious relationship before. It wasn't that he was scared of them or anything, he just didn't know anyone well enough. He had never been bothered to get to know anyone. Plus, he loved freedom. He was kind of wary of being.. Tied down to someone.
'Hitting on your teacher could possibly be the dumbest thing you've ever done,' his sub-consciousness informed him, and unfortunately, he agreed with himself for once. Although the age gap was small, they'd have to work around each other at school for a long time. Nope, definitely not a great idea there.
Noticing that there was a doctor already waiting for him, he cheered inside. "No waiting room? Awesome," he smiled to himself and began to hop over to the doctor before he heard Matthew speak. He was offering to come with him. "Oh.. Er.. You can come in with me," he chewed on the end of one of his fingers nervously. He didn't want Matthew to think he was a wimp, or a crybaby - he wasn't. He wasn't scared of hospitals, he just got bored easily. And doctors were boring. Maybe if his teacher came with him he'd keep him entertained.
He was suprised when Matthew wheeled a wheelchair over. Danny honestly didn't think he needed one, it wasn't that bad. But then again, he was a lazy kid, so he sat in it anyway. "Thanks," he flashed a grin at the other guy and laid the crutch across his legs.

When Danny chewed on the end Matthew couldn't help but think it was cute. Okay so maybe he thought Danny was hot not just hot but super hot. But, what could he do it would be so wrong if he had a relationship with a student let alone one of his own students. He just shook that thought away for a bit and nodded his head as he heard the response to his earlier question. As Danny sat down in the wheelchair Matthew just kept a hold on to it as he flashed his student a soft grin. "Don't worry about it" he spoke.
Glancing back on over to the doctor he noticed that he was starting to get his nurse ready. That just meant soon enough they would be ready to go into a hospital room and the doctor would be able to tell Danny exactly what was wrong with his ankle. Though Matthew could already guess it was sprained. He didn't know how badly sprained it was though he just knew by the amount of pain the nurse had told him Danny had been in it just had to be sprained and nothing more or less. Watching the doctor for a couple of moments he then noticed the doctor begin to walk on over to them.
He could only guess that the doctor wanted to take Danny away from him but, he wasn't going to allow that. Matthew was going to be there for his student and that was that. After speaking to the doctor for a couple of moments he watched as the doctor left before he looked back down to Danny. "We're ready to get that ankle of yours checked you ready to go" Matthew just asked him softly. That was when Matthew began to wheel him slowly after the doctor and down to the hospital room.
Once wheeling him into it Matthew just parked the wheelchair beside the bed so it would be easier for Danny to get on to it. He then flashed a soft smile down to his student and held his hands out to him. "Want me to lift you on to it it just might be easier and less painful" Matthew suggested calmly as the doctor was getting his supplies ready.

'Hotttttttttttt,' was his only coherent thought when he received another grin from his teacher. Damn. Why did he have to be his teacher? He had half a mind to flirt with him and see what his reaction would be. Teachers couldn't hit students, right? So he'd be pretty safe. He contemplated and shrugged to himself. The alcohol was telling him that it was a super-fantastic-awesome idea, but his consciousness was saying 'are you a complete moron?'.
Danny watched as the doctor started talking with the nurse and figured that it was time for him to go and get checked. Again, he wondered the point of this expedition. It definitely wasn't broken, so what was there they could do for him? Matthew had said it was because they wanted to see what extent it was damaged to, but what was there for them to do with it? He silently hoped that it would recover pretty fast. Crutches were annoying. Plus, skateboarding was his only current mode of transport. How he hated walking.
He watched silently as Matthew started talking to the doctor. He could only guess that either the doctor wanted the teacher to stay in the waiting room or that Matthew was explaining how the hell he injured himself. When Matthew came back he was half expecting him to tell him that he had to wait in the waiting room, but nope, he just asked if he was ready to go. "Sure am," he said blearily, swinging his good leg to and fro. He decided that he liked wheelchairs very much as he was pushed around the hospital. Maybe he could hire someone full time to push him around on a wheelchair. No need to walk ever again! He snorted at the thought, and at his own laziness.
Danny blinked slowly at the teacher's question. He was offering to lift him up? His perverted side cheered at the idea and gushed at him to accept the offer as it would be a chance to get close to him. The other half of him sighed and slapped it's forehead at his pathetic levels. "...Sure," he grinned, wiggling in the chair "Dontdropmeplease," he added to the end of his sentence quickly, laughing internally at himself.

Matthew couldn't help but notice how adorable Danny was acting. "If only he wasn't a student no wait what am I talking about I like girls not guys" he thought silently to himself. All his life he had been confused about his sexuality and he was trying to force himself to be straight. But, truth was Matthew wasn't straight but, he wasn't going to accept the fact that he wasn't. He had heard about the tales of how many people got beat up for not being straight he just didn't want that to happen to him. The way he spoke about not dropping him just made Matthew's heart beat slightly faster. "No, no this can't be happening this just can't be happening" he thought silently to himself trying to clear his head of the thoughts of how cute and hot Danny was.
But, deep down he was liking those thoughts. No matter how hard he tried to push them away he knew they will always come back to his head one way or another. Gently and careful Matthew wrapped his arms around the younger boy's frame. He then gently lifted him up into his strong arms being very careful with his injured ankle. Walking over a bit to the bed Matthew stood beside it before he gently and slowly lowered Danny on to the bed just wanting to lay him down in a comfortable position that wouldn't bother his ankle that much.
Once he made sure Danny was comfortable he flashed his student a soft reassuring smile before he looked back up to the doctor just in time to see him advancing to the bed. Matthew then looked back down to his student. Whenever any of his students were hurt he always felt bad for them. Matthew just always wished he could take their pain away from them and give it to himself. He was just the type of teacher who cared for his students first before himself. Even if that meant risking his own life to get them to safety he would do it. "Everything is going to be all alright Danny he's just going to add a bit of pressure alright" he asked softly. Matthew even held out his hand to Danny just in case he wanted to hold on to him because of the pain.

He watched and blinked slowly as Matthew hesitated before picking him up. 'Hmmm' he thought. Straight or not It was like a conundrum. A conundrum he wanted to solve. Danny was a very stubborn person, and he loved a challenge. When he wants to find something out, or achieve something, he will never give up until he solves it or receives what it is he was after. Right now, this teacher was interesting him. Was he straight? Or wasn't he?
His first guess was straight, but now he wasn't so sure. And he wanted to find out. The alcohol was egging him on and this time he felt obliged to listen to it. He shrugged to himself. 'Who cares what happens? To hell with the consequences.' And so he began trying to solve this puzzle that was his teacher.
When he was picked up by his teacher, he pressed his body against him, feigning fear of being dropped but really just using it as an excuse to get closer to him. He felt a small stab of guilt as he was placed on the hospital bed. Matthew had been so nice to him, was it really that great of him to be flirting with him? He pushed that thought aside though, almost scowling to himself, and told himself not to be such a sissy.
Matthew flashed him one of those adorable grins again and Danny smiled back. The doctor was approaching him now; he was still intrigued as to what he was actually going to do. He sat up straight and propped his upper body up with his arms, stretching his legs out in front of him. When the teacher spoke to him he just nodded. "Yeah, it's fine," he said, watching as the doctor pulled off his shoe and wincing at the slight pain. When he started adding pressure to it, it hurt like hell and he frowned and closed his eyes, trying to concentrate on something else. Half of him was tempted to do the whole 'nnn.. it hurts' thing like out of all of those cheesy anime films, but his dignity would just not allow him to go that far to flirt with someone.
"Uhh.. Ouch," he groaned. It wasn't unbearable, it was just very uncomfortable. He put his hand on his teacher's and squeezed it, as if to relieve some of the pain. 'Damn. I hope my ankle isn't messed up for very long..'
