"I came here to make you dance tonight i don't care about my guilty pleasure for you so. Shut up! 'Cause we, won't stop! We're getting down till the suns comin up!" sang a tall and slender boy as he walked the streets of Chinatown. His black hair was sticking up in all direction like he woke up and jumped out the door. When most people walk and sing they have some sort of MP3 player or iPod to use as an excuse for singing so loudly, not Gabe. He sang as loud as he wanted to because, well, fuck it. Weirder things happen in Manhattan and in the big picture no one is gonna care weather a stranger was singing as he walked. Gabe had actually just come from Little Italy and dinner with his parents. So the was a fresh amount of cash stored away in his wallet which was iside his coat on an inner pocket. This is where he has to keep his money because Gabe has had more than a few unpleasant experiences with pick-pocketing.
His singing gradually turned into a hum and he walked the sidewalks that twisted and turned to create Chinatown. His usual would be to stand outside a chinese place and make his lame attempt to hit on girls. He wasn't charming and most girl around his age in the city are looking for money, talent, or sex. He has money and talent, but is sorely lacking sex. He has everything a girl should want. He's got looks, money, talent, and a goood personality once you get to know him, but when he attempts to hit on someone the words come out all wrong. This really should be different seeing as no other guy he knows has as much trouble picking up girls. Complete assholes get laid more than him, cause they get it at least once. Gabe's hum died out thinking about this. He needs a girl who will approach him, or it might never work. Oh well, he isn't out girl searching cause its only eight pm. The sun is setting though and after hours is hunting season. He tries to clear the thoughts from his mind and goes inside a chinese place to get take-out. Even though he just ate, he is somehow hungry again. He walks into the place and goes to the front counter, "Um. Can I have Sesame chicken, white rice, loe mein, any sort of sushi, and an eggroll?" Damn he can eat. The woman behind the counter nods and Gabe looks out the front window at the horizon that is just visable through two buildings. The sky is almost completely pink and soft orange. All the people walking by are wearing coats due to the breeze.
It's friday night and he's getting take-out to bring back to his apartment. By 12pm his phone will be ringing for rides from drunk friends and most of them will come back to his place so he can take care off their hangovers. No wonder he can't get any.

Alone in Chinatown, that was definetly a first for Marcilynn; she was one who was always found traveling in a pack of girls. This, however caused her to be less open in terms of guys attempting to flirt with her. Today, however she had decided she wanted some time to relax; partying every single weekend was hella fun, but it did get slightly tiring after a while. Tonight, despite all the party invitations she had recieved, she was going to order chinese take out and relax in her room.
Being alone like this was actually giving her a sense of freedom she was free to do as she pleased, go where she pleased, and be who she pleased. It was oddly satisfying. She found herself walking with somewhat of a skip to her step, glad to be out and about. She loved the sweet smell of different foods all over the place, the sound of heels clicking on the ground as women walked around after a long days work, and all the beautiful things to see along the way. She loved to go window shopping in this place, however she never had found herself buying things. Someday, though, when she had a house with multiple rooms one would be themed with Chinese art and such. She just loved it all so much.
Nearing the small Chinese Restaurant she loved so dearly she began to smell the food. This reminded her of her extreme hunger causing her slow walk to turn into a fast walk, nearly a jog. After what seemed like a mile, though only a couple hundred feet she reached the door. She slowly opened the heavy door hearing her favorite little bell chime as she did so. Standing at the counter as she walked in was a boy she recognized from school, however she was unaware of his name. Curious as heck now she tapped him on the shoulder, "You go to the Manhattan School of Arts, don't you?! I am almost positive I've seen you around." she chimed in her extremelly feminine voice. Noticing how amazingly he was she managed to smile he flirty smile which somehow always managed to reel guys at parties in. She wasn't sure how it might work on a completely sober guy though...

As his mind was wondering off into who his mom's minivan would hold tonight he felt a tap. He swung around to see a girl who he knew he recognized from somewhere. When she started asking about school he knew it must be from there. Once she finished he decided on a way to reply, "Yeah, acting major. Although I'm pretty sure you're not in the sophomore class. I've given almost all of them a ride from parties." he said half laughing. It may sound strange but it was sure as hell true. He almost felt like asking her what she was doing tonight, his hand traveled to his coat pocket full of money. He had enough to take her out for a night on the town, but he had a strange sense she wouldn't like that. Gabe has been incredibly good at reading people since he was little, it's an acting skill he has acquired. She's probably a party person judging by her flirting skills, but since she isn't in a massive group of people she might be looking for a slower night tonight. The thought occured to him of inviting her to his pla--BAD IDEA! Soon enough his place will be full of hungover, puking teenagers. He can't bring her to that, and he can't not pick people up. It;s sort of his job that he doesn't get paid for. He doesn't want anyone dying on him so he makes sure they are safe. It's always been easy, theres never been a hesitation to make his rounds....till now.
It's difficult to decide, especially considering his....uh, situation. He looks at her cute face lined by her blond hair and somehow the words fly out of his mouth before he can catch them. "Would you maybe wanna come to my place? Ya know, some Chinese food and bad old movies. We could...talk about school" He almost wanted to cup his hand around his mouth, but that would of course look awkward and stupid. He could cover for this. How could he get her out of his apartment when the first calls started coming in. Sick relative? no. Girlfriend? Then he'll look like an asshole. Bring her? No fucking way, thats the most ridiculous one. The truth? Lying is usually better but the truth might come in handy this time. she could always say no though, maybe one of his friends would magically walk in and bail him out. If anyone could bail him out he's be extremely thankful. Although a small part of him is screaming to just let the night play out, but he could easily crush that small part of him. Yet he doesn't exactly want to, oh well. It throw a tantrum all it wants, this girl is NOT coming on his rounds with him.

As he turned around she started to blush, not something that often happened with her; she was on of those girls that could flirt with almost any guy she wanted to and not have a problem. "Yeah, acting major. Although I'm pretty sure you're not in the sophomore class. I've given almost all of them a ride from parties." Hearing this she giggled, the giggle she had spent hours perfecting when she was a freshmen. She smiled at him and cheerfully replied, "Nahh, I'm a junior, modeling major. I guess I can be glad I'm not a sophomore then, cause I would have highly embarassed my self by now getting a ride from you after one of my crazy nights out." She almost regretted saying this, maybe he did not like girls who partied, he seemed like he might be one of those guys who prefered the goody two shoes, little miss perfect school focused girls. She couldn't help but think to herself how sometimes she wished she was just a little bit different.
Her heart skipped a beat as she heard his invitation, "Would you maybe wanna come to my place? Ya know, some Chinese food and bad old movies. We could...talk about school" perhaps he did like girls who partied, or maybe her bubbly personality and flirty smile had won him over. Whatever it was though she didn't care, it had worked. She wasn't sure what to say, she was hoping for a night alone to relax and such, but maybe talking to someone would be nice. He seemed like an understanding guy; they probably shared a bunch of things in common, but then again, maybe not...
She realized after a couple seconds lost in thought that she should probably answer his question. "Hmmm, what an offer. A quiet night watching movies and eating take out chinese." she joked. "Sounds kinda cheesy, like one of those romance movies, but hey, I'm all for stuff like that! Her voice naturally rose as she said that, she was terrible at hiding excitement in her voice sometimes. "That is, if I wouldn't be disrupting something you already had planned...?" Marcilynn questioned, hoping that she wasn't...

( SHUSH GIRL! SHUT YOUR LIPS! ) do the helen keller and talk with your hips - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Nalah had come to China Town in search for good eats and an oppurtunity to poke fun at the stupid people who could not pronounce egg-foo-young correctly. Unfortunately, it was still a Friday afternoon and most people were at work or attending school. Nalah decided to ditch last period to at least get some good eats. And maybe even visit the old liquor store to buy a couple cans of Hennesys to last her a day or so in the dorms.
The take-out restaraunt was small and cramped, even though only a few people were standing by the counter, contemplating which plate of orange chicken they should get. Nalah, whom was not very fond of small, hot, and cramped places, squeezed through the two who were speaking. Apparently the boy was inviting the girl back to his apartment. Disgusting little perverts. Can't they discuss such manners in private, wondered the girl as she stood at the front of the counter.
Suddenly, a rather portly man popped up from behind the counter. His face was twisted, and Nalah cringed. Before he could even ask to take her order, the blond knew what she wanted. "Yeah, I'll have whatever the special is today. And I know it's five bucks,
" she blurted, digging in her shallow pockets for some change. Luckily she had just enough, $5.34. Nalah quickly handed the guy some money and went to listen to what the others in the restaraunt were saying, other than the fact that they obviously wanted to fuck one another. Nalah listened very carefully, analyzing each word. His awkwardness with girls revealed his virginity, and the girl's incline to flirt revealed a total slut. Time to intervene before dude catches an STD, Nalah thought. She stood up excitedly and scooted towards the two flirts. " What's up, bitches? I'd be Nalah, only the best person you'll ever meet! And you are?" she asked, eyes focused on the guy. She batted her rather long eyelashes at him and flashed a pearly grin, her red lips brightening her face.[/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAG !? Gabe looked at her face light up at his invitation. He couldn't take it back now, he just couldn't. She was right as well, he did sound like he was out of some weird love movie. Life isn''t a movie though so it won't apply. then he heard her last comment, he did have something to do. One night wouldn't kill anyone. Another girl popping up between them disrupted his moment, dammit he was on a roll! Oh well, it's not like anything could've happened tonight anyway. The girl introduced herself as Nahla, what a strange name. It was pretty in an almost exotic type of way. A touch of disappointment surged through him but he didn't let it touch his eyes. well, there was no reversing time so why not be polite? Maybe if he makes a good impression on these two girls it would lead more girls to him. It wasn't extremely likely but likeiness doesn't really matter in the world today. "Hello Nahlah, I'm Gabe." he looked at her face carefully and what triggered his memory was her lips, not the shape but the color. Although he had never heard of her before she looked vaugely familiar. "Hey Nahla, do you go to MSA?"
Everybody seemed to be coming to this one little location for some reason. Each reason might be different, or might be the same, who knows. All Gabe knows is that now he won't have to worry about rounds. he wasn't sure if he had enough food for three, two definitly. not three, then he realized Nahla ordered her own food so that was one less worry. He looked at the first girl and shrugged his shoulder as if to say I have no idea who this is and why she is here. This girl might think she's protecting Gabe from a slut or something. There are two flaws in that, he would LIKE to get laid before he's 50 so it wouldn't be such a bad thing. Two, Gabe's best friend (Femme) is one of the biggest sluts in the school so he knows how they act. He just kept on a pleasant smile through it all.

Marcilynn's thoughts were completely disrupted when some obnoxiously rude girl jumped in, wasn't it quite obvious that the two of them were already having a closed conversation?! "What's up, bitches? I'd be Nalah, only the best person you'll ever meet! And you are?" "Wowww, this girls got nerve, and gosh she definetly is a bit over the top with confidence" Marcilynn thought to herself before she looked at Gabe with a questioning look, waiting to see how he responded, as to not make the wrong move and make him hate her. Of course, he decided to be polite, responding to Nalah almost as if she were quite welcome in this conversation.
After allowing Gabe to introduce himself politely Marcilynn chimed in, "I'm Marcilynn, I go to MSA too." She smiled, an extremelly fake smile. She dearly hoped that it didn't show or come across as snobby; that wasn't at all what she was going for, well maybe she was. The only thought running through her mind right now was, "Bitch!" Obviously this girl was extremelly jealous, or maybe even worse she thought she was protecting Gabe from her. However Marcilynn had no idea why, this Nalah girl didn't have any idea who she was. "It's not like I'm a slut or anything. Just cause I flirt doesn't mean I want in his pants. I just want to get to know him; I mean he's cute, that's all." Marcilynn ws starting to upset herself. She wasn't sure why though, at any party she went to some dumb girl interuptting would never really upset her, just make her leave to go flirt with a different guy; almost like a challenge. This time, however, something was different. She wasn't quite sure what though. With all this Marcilynn knew she would to get away from this girl or something before she totally bitched her out, that would not be a good first impression at all. Noticing Gabe's shoulder shrug and questioning look Marcilynn decided to cut in, before Nalah could even say anything else. "Not to be rude or anything, but Gabe and I were just leaving. Sorry we can't stick around." She said, in as nice of a tone as she could get out. She looked at Gabe trying to see if she had his approval in this matter; hoping she hadn't just completely screwed herself over with him...

BEEN THINKING LITTLE THOUGHTS keep on walking trying to stand up attention to the details
-------------------------------------------------------------------- --"Oh, really?Well, that sucks turkey balls," Nalah replied to the other blond girl, who was quite the bitch. She casually tucked her hair behind her ear. Nalah grinned and the guy who had introduced himself as Gabe. At least somebody was mildy pleasent. "And of course I go to MSA. Ima music freak, see?
" Nalah exclaimed, pretending to rock out on an air guitar. She grinned once more, sticking her hands in a pair of baby blue jeans. The look on the other blond's face was troubling. Her glare--almost devilish-- made Nalah cringe with anger. What the fuck did I do anyway, she wondered, returning the girl's evil look. It was a competition. A competition Nalah could surely win. Nalah, however, would continue to compose herself. She smiled and pretended to be relaxed, sensually releasing the weight from her shoulders and fiddling with the straps on her bright red cami. Of course, this was her attempt at flirting. Nalah's cami straps dropped past her shoulders after she was done with them, and soon enough she'd flash him a nice grin. " It's a shame you have to leave so soon. I was hoping we could get a cuppa Henessys from the liquor store next door. I heard Kanye drinks that shit," Nalah suggested. Her voice was a bit rustic and boyish, yet still suggestive. " Oh, and Gabe! You're a total knock out," the blond hinted, glancing at his lips and walking up to the counter. She sat upon it, legs crossed, and awaited her meal. OH shit. He could see in Marcilynn's face that she was extremely annoyed at this point. He was wondering why she got so angry, people like this come and go all the time, but then again Nahlah was being ru--Gabe you're a knockout. Not so rude anymore. At that comment he couldn't stop himself from smiling. This might be unattractive to Marcilynn but in his book he never even had a chance. Theres never much of a chance for Gabe, he's gotten close a couple times, he's had girl throw themselves at him. they've tried every trick in the book, but it didn't work. Before it happens he freezes. It's not like he doesn't wanna, well, you know. It's almost like he can't. It's like he's got a bad feeling something would happen that he could never fix. Like an STD, you never know where peoples genitals have been around here. It's a scary thought. he snapped himself out of all his nervous daydreaming and focused on now. Nahlah and Marci, Marci and Nahla. Wow. what an event. To think it may even have the slightest to do with him is incomprehensible to Gabe.
He vaugely noticed his food starting to get cols in his hands. Oh well, thats why they invented microwaves, of which he has a very nice one. One he would like to show to someone. FOCUS GABE FOCUS he yelled at himself inside his head. He just looked back and forth between Nahlah and Marci. They both looked angry and ready to bitch out and be bitched out. This could escalate into a full out catfight, or he could end it. He opened his mouth and shut it again. What does he say to two tigresses ready to pounce? Being Gabe he didn't think about it and said the first thing that shot out of his mouth, "Woah, cool it down. No need to be ready to bite, rip, and claw." Holy crap. Now he sounds like he's actually talking about wild animals. They might hate him making this reference now. Well at leasy that would give them a common enemy and they wouldn't fight. girl fights are only good in a controlled environment when the girls are in bikinis. he couldn't help thinking about how shallow some of his thoughts were, but hey, he's just a guy. tag(s):

Marcilynn smiled as she saw Gabe's understanding, then it dissapeared as soon as Nalah comments on his looks. What a cheesy way to get his attention. Marcilynn knew she got angry really easily, that's what got her in so much trouble at her old school, but this girl was just being a bitch. Marcilynn was wondering where her quiet night alone went.
Obviously completely unsure of how to handle the situation Gabe just kept opening and closing his mouth, that is until he decided to finally say something. The only problem was, it was the absolutely worst thing he could have said. "Woah, cool it down. No need to be ready to bite, rip, and claw." It did seem almost like he blurted it out without thinking, and the look on his face kinda made it seem that way too, but Marcilynn was still pised. Not at him so much, but at Nalah, the bitch who ruined what could have been a perfect night. A normal night with a guy, there didn't even have to be sex; she didn't even want sex tonight.
Glaring at Nalah more so than at Gabe Marcilynn hissed, "Well, seeing as I am not an animal, I don't think I'll be attacking anything. And, better yet; I would never even consider pouncing on that." She pointed at Nalah as she said this, making her point very clear. She then turned and smiled at Gabe, quite happy with her comeback. She was still longing to get to know this guy better, hoping somehow this night could still end well. However, this seemed very unlikely; especially with the way things were going here. He didn't have enough brains to decide between the two of them, when really the decision couldn't that hard.
Still rather annoyed Marcilynn flicked her long, curly hair over her shoulder and started to walk away. As she reached the door she turned and winked at Gabe, "Well, before things get out of hand here, I'm gonna leave. Why don't you just call me later if you decide you still want to watch those movies, or perhaps you could just stop by my house...? I live in Newburough Heights, house number 144." Marcilynn started to walk out the door when she realized he didn't even have her phone number, so she turned around and went up to the counter. She scribbled down her number on a spare piece of piece and winked as she handed it to Gabe. Then, she left giving Nalah one last glare, and sending Gabe a flirty wave as the door closed...
