On such a beautiful day what more is there to do than sit outside in the courtyard, guitar in hand, playing and singing any song that comes to mind. Nick couldn't think of anything he would rather be doing. There wasn't much on his mind today, other than girls. He had always been kind of shy with them, but since he came here he has had the worst luck ever. He hadn't had a single girlfriend since starting here over a year ago. He figured that probably had to do with the fact that he always seemed to find himself crushing on the older girls, or girls who already had amazing guys.
"Because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you, over again, don't make me change my mind. For I won't live to see another day I swear it's true, because a girl like you is impossible to find. You're impossible to find..." It wasn't until Nick had almost finished the song that he even realized he was singing it. Fall For You, was a good song, but the only he knew it was so that he could possibly sing it to his giflfriend someday. The only problem was, he needed to get one first, and he knew that would be very easy.
Nick set his guitar down and leaned against the tree he was sitting next to. He could feel the sun against his face, a lovely warmth ran through him. He had this odd feeling inside of himself. A feeling almost like something really good was going to happen soon, he just had no idea...

Bella danced along toward the trees carrying her guitar in her hand. Her beautiful, blond hair flowed around her shoulders in wavey curls. She was smiling and laughing, showing her perfect, white teeth. Her brown eyes sparkled with happiness. Her life seemed to be perfect. The only thing missing was a guy. She shrugged it off, though, and continued dancing along.
She sat down next to a tree, and pulled her guitar into her lap. She looked around, thinking of a song to sing. And then she saw a guy that seemed to be upset. He was talking on the phone, and it reminded her of a song."You're on the phone with your girlfriend, she's upset. She's goin' off about something that you said 'cause she doesn't get your humor like I do..." She was cut short when she saw a different guy. He was sitting by a tree alone.
She smiled and got up. She walkedc over to him, but approached him from behind. She listened to him sing, and was going to sing with him, but decided not to. When he was done, she smiled, but didn't say anything. She actually acted like he wasn't even there. She sat down on the other side of the tree and started to sing "You Belong With Me" again. She started from the beginning and worked her way to the end. She wanted him to find her instead of her finding him. She thought that it would be easier this way.
She smiled when she was done, and leaned her guitar against the tree. She then leaned her head back so that her face was pointed toward the sky. She closed her eyes, and kept smiling, not exactly sure what she was doing. She wasn't very good with guys, and found it easier for them to find her before she found them. Actually... neither of them were easy, but the one was easier.

As he was sitting he could hear some girl singing a Taylor Swift song, or so he thought it was a Taylor Swift song, maybe not. He found her singing quite amazing, actually, he was almost positive she had to be at this school for music. He opened his eyes to see where this beautiful voice was coming from, but saw nothing; that's when he realized she was on the other side of the tree.
He wasn't sure he should disrupt her, though; maybe she was working on a song for one of her classes. But then again, maybe she was just wasting away time like he was, it was gorgeous outside, so why not just sit out and sing? He was trying to come up with something clever to say that wasn't too flirty, but did give a hint of interest. Nick was never one to be good with pick up lines, they always sounded so cheesy to him. He didn't know how they could possibly work on a girl, but maybe they just like the cheesy romantic stuff. He had no idea, and absolutely no intentions of trying to digest the female mind, it is way too complicated.
Finally, still unsure of what he was to say he stood up and walked around the other side of the tree, smiling his amazingly adorable smile in the process. What he saw on the other side of the tree was beyond beautiful. The girl sitting there not only had an amzing voice, but she was absolutely gorgeous; there was something about her blonde, curly hair, perfectly straight teeth, and the way she just sat there that had him completely mesmorized. He couldn't help but stutter slightly as his words just came out, "Uhmmm, hey..." You could here the extreme nervousness in his voice, there was no mistaking that. "I couldn't help but overhear your singing, it's absolutely amazing. And then I saw you..." He stopped there, embarassed he had almost said how mesmorized he was. He tried to laugh, but all that came out was a little squeak. "Damn. Why can't I ever just act normal around girls?!" He thought to himself, he wasn't sure why he was even talking to this beautiful girl, she probably already had an amazing boyfriend...
