PRETTY LITTLE NOBODY. that’s where we all start. no one knows who you are. no one knows your name. no one knows you exist. you and your band are just one more group lost in the shuffle of thousands of other bands. you played gigs, hoping to get signed. then you found HEARTSTOP RECORDS. they offered you the chance to compete against a bunch of other bands. this was what you'd been waiting for.
PRETTY LITTLE CONTEST. this wasn't going to be easy. in total, there were who-knows-how-many bands trying to win this. but only six of those bands could win. you had to gain popularity. make your fans like you. because they're the ones deciding whether or not you win. yeah, that's right, the fans are the ones deciding. friends help, darlings. in the music industry is where you find them. and enemies.
PRETTY LITTLE TOUR. welcome to the tour. the hardest part about it all is that almost every band is a different genre which makes it easier for fans to like one band more than you. outside of scheduled tour dates, bands can play gigs as long as they don't interfere with their schedules. they've gotta get their name out there and make people like them right?
PRETTY LITTLE SCANDAL. for some people, making music wasn't enough to get you noticed. so you had to find some way to get your name out there. resorting to any means of getting attention, from sleeping with that guy (or girl) at the bar to starting a cat fight with another band. but it got you noticed. and now you're not so much of a nobody. but you had to do that the hard way, unlike those other bands who were an instant hit.
PRETTYLITTLEBIG CHALLENGE. the music industry is no walk in the park, people. you've gotta work hard. you've gotta be the best to be on top. or you have to at least be better than everyone else. that means you've gotta block out the haters, be grateful for your fans, and
SEW YOURSELF SHUT.
